fuckyeahtattoos:

This is my first tattoo, still fresh at the time. It says “Vem har lurat alla barnen?”, which is swedish and means “Who has fooled all the children?”.
This question is opposed to the society’s demands of the individual’s way of life; how we are expected to behave, how to look, how to walk & talk and so on. To me it is about finding the strength to once in a while stand up and say ‘What the f*ck’, I’m not gonna starve myself to look a sertain way for someone else, I’m not gonna let a meaningless job carve a hole in my brain and I’m definitely not gonna let any worries of “perfection” shadow my life and happiness. It’s hard to break free from the railway and I’ve got some painful years on my neck, but everytime I look at this tattoo I’m reminded to take a moment and catch some love, in whatever form it may reveal it self.
And the moment society fooled us we also kind of lost the most important ingredient in life - Respect. I want to get it back.
It is made by Daniel Norin at Swahili Bob’s tattoo and piercing, in Stockholm.
